ECD Designers’ Challenge – Baby

This month’s Designers’ Challenge from Elizabeth Craft Designs is dedicated to our little ones.

Here is my project:

1. Cut a  8 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of brown cardstock, create a score line as shown in the picture below and fold in half

2. Using  the decorative tag die from Tags & More 8 – Lattice: cut the top of the card.

3. Cut:

  • Two 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ pieces and One 7/8″ x 2 1/2″ using cream cardstock
  • One 1 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ piece using brown cardstock
  • One 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and One that is 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ using a pink patterned paper.
  • Apply Double sided adhesive tape to white cardstock and cut Two 5/8″ x 2 1/4″ Pieces.

4. Die cut One tag using cream cardstock and Two bows using brown cardstock

Refer to following picture for the measurements and the colors used:

5. Lightly ink the edges of the tag using: Frayd Buriar Distress Ink.

6. Die cut an Eiffel tower using pink paper. Use the Eiffel tower die as a stencil to color in the decorative pattern onto the Eiffel tower cut out.

7. Using one of the decorative pieces from Tags and more 7 – Vine: Die cut a piece using brown cardstock, and using our fine point scissors, transform this piece into a hanger.

8. To create the dress, use a decorative piece from the oval accordion as shown in the following picture.

9. Once you have cut the rounded bottom using the oval accordion die. Make two small score lines as shown.

10.- Cut a diagonal line connecting the top of the score line with the corner of the bottom of the paper. Then repeat on the opposite side.

11.- Using one of the decorative piece from Tags & More 2 – Deco: Create the neck of the dress.

12.- Now the dress is ready for assembly.

13. Die cut “it’s a girls” using one of the pieces of white cardstock with double sided adhesive. Remove the protective paper of the adhesive and apply Peony Pink Silk Microfine Glitter.

15. On our other piece of white cardstock with the double sided adhesive expose the adhesive to attach the “it’s a girl”. Finally, apply the warm Silk Microfine Glitter, and polish the piece.

16. With all of the pieces ready, assemble the card.

1.- Cut a piece of 9 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ from blue cardstock. Score at 4-3/4″ and fold in half to create your card base.

2.- Cut a piece of 3 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ on patterned flower paper.

3.- Cut a piece  of 2 5/8″ x 3 3/4″ in green cardstock.

4.-For the sentiment cut a piece of 5/8 x 2 1/4 in white cardstock.

5.-Apply Transparent Double-Sided Tape to white cardstock. Transfer the outline of the Flower Vases 1 peel-off to the adhesive side and, using the glitter coloring technique, add Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to peel-off and color. Watch Els demonstrate this technique HERE.

6.- Add Borders Peel-Offs to emphasis the edges.

Today I am sharing my post on Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog. Come on by and see how I created this Happy Birthday Box.

Hola amigas

Les contare que estoy muy emocionada porque esta semana me invitaron a participar en el blog de Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Decidí preparar un proyecto que nos muestra cuan versátil son los troqueles de la colección llamada Tags & More. Espero les guste, empecemos

1.- Usando el troquel Tag & More 7 Vine corte dos piezas de 4 1/4”; x 8” en cartulina verde claro.

2.-  Corte una pieza de 12” x 3” en cartulina de color verde oscuro y con la ayuda del troquel Tags & More 8 – Lattice decore los extremos de la pieza. Marque las líneas que le permitirán crear el cuerpo de la caja, como se muestra en la imagen.

3.-Con la ayuda de las tinta distress de color Forest Moss Ligeramente colorea los bordes de las piezas pre – cortadas en cartulina de color verde claro.

4.-Usando los troqueles Victorian Flower Set 1 Die y Crystal Flower Set 1 cortamos 2 flores en papel decorado marrón y dos en amarillo.

5.- En cartulina verde oscuro, corte una pieza ovalada usando el troquel Accordion Oval.

6. Aplicar adhesivo de doble cara en cartulina blanca. Remueva el cover exponiendo la parte con adhesivo.Transfiera la calcomania o pegatina Jackie’s Dolls in Oval y usando la técnica del coloreado en escarcha aplique  diamantina y colorea con los marcadores de Copics.En este video Els Muestra esta técnica. HERE

7.-Para preparar las hojas, aplique adhesivo de doble cara en cartulina blanca, corte 4 juegos de hojas usando el troquel Curvy Leaves. Remueva el cover exponiendo la parte con adhesivo y aplique la diamantina de color Forest Green. Para el Happy Birthday use papel de terciopelo blanco.

8.- Con todas las piezas ya listas, puede empezar a ensambrar su caja.

Today, we will go through the steps on how to create a card for a special person.
Hola! como han estado. En el tutorial de hoy les mostrare como crear una tarjeta para alguien especial.
STEP 1:Cut 3 pieces of card stock using The Tags & More 7- Vine (960) by Elizabeth Craft Designs. Cut 2 pieces on red card stock and 1 piece on a patterned paper.
PASO 1: Cortar 3 paneles con la ayuda de los troqueles 960 Tags & More 7-Vine de Elizabeth Craft Designs. Cortaremos 2 de los paneles en carton rojo, y 1 panel en el papel decorativo de su preferencia.

STEP 2: Cut 4 border pieces and 1 circle piece on red card stock using the decorative pieces of Tags & More-Vine(960). For the words use black velvet (406) and The Alphabet 1 Caps (967) by Elizabeth Craft Designs.

PASO 2: Cortar 5 piezas (4 bordes y 1 circulo como muestra en la imagen) en cartulina roja  usando las piezas decorativas  del troquel Tags & More-Vine(960) .Para crear las phrases usamos papel de terciopelo negro (406) y el troquel Alphabet 1 Caps (967), todos estos productos de la linea de Elizabeth Craft Designs.

STEP 3: Using the coloring glitter technique: (https://youtu.be/Y6Fp7GgH0L4 ).Fill in the Jackie’s Dolls 2(2563) with the color of your choice.

PASO 3: Usando la tecnica de “Colorear en diamantina con Copics”. Pinte la muñeca del color de su preferencia.

STEP 4: Now with all of the pieces prepared how they will be used, assemble the card.

PASO 4: Ahora que tenemos todas las piezas listas, procederemos a unir la tarjeta.

This is a fun and easy card to make, after decorating it with some glitter lines and glitter dots, here we have our final result.

Este projecto es muy divertido y facil de hacer. Despues de unos toques decorativos este es nuestro resultado final.
